"ABSOLUTELY USELESS COMPANY"
ABSOLUTELY USELESS COMPANY, COMPLETE SCAM. Tried to redeem my points over 10 times now without any luck. I have sent over 10 emails to customer services without receiving a response. Absolute joke, can’t believe they are related to Paypal.

"Totally disappointed"
Totally disappointed. It does work for price drops on Amazon where it emails me, but no discounts other than that. I use it on AliExpress, and it says let's check for discount codes. It takes several minutes each time, goes through a dozen codes and nothing. I got a whole 12 cents back though AliExpress, not from Honey, spending over $30 just now. Boy I'm rich! I was hoping it would work better than this. I'll keep it and hope it actually does more. Likewise, I can't say don't get it, but I won't recommend it to anyone.

My reply back to Honey's reply: I buy on AliExpress almost weekly and every code has failed so far. You need to do a better job removing these dead codes. The only one that works is to use PayPal, which costs me more to use, so it's stupid to use. When I use Honey at Amazon, like another reviewer said, it takes over almost half my web page and sometimes have to refresh the page to get rid of it. There's no easy way to close it. Sometimes it takes over again after refreshing. There needs to be an X to close it and make it stop. When I was on metered bandwidth, things like this ate up my bandwidth. Please be more considerate of our time and bandwidth.

"Cashback not credited and no reply from customer service"
I have sent multiple reminders to honey to get a $100 cashback for an order. Yet despite multiple reminders via their email and chat service (probably just a bot), they haven't replied to me in over 3 weeks. Their competitors take care of the issue within days so the lack of response over multiple week is in very stark contrast.

"What happened to Honey? Total sham"
Appalling, what is going on there. Used to be such a good service and now has suddenly fallen off a cliff.
Same as everyone else, have a tonne of credit to redeem but the vouchers never come through. Customer services never reply and as soon as I got through to the chat function and explained my issue they cut me off.

Please don't waste your time, it's just disappointment all round. To think this company is affiliated with Paypal is quite embarrassing


UPDATE:: No response to emails, chat continues to blank you once you explain the issue. Rather pointless response from Honey trying to save face telling you to get in touch again.

PLEASE AVOID HONEY LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!!

"I’m am seeing a lot of reviews that are…"
I’m am seeing a lot of reviews that are similar to what I am experiencing. I currently have almost $40 pending and cannot cash out via PayPal or any other method. I have been trying still November 2022 to get in contact with someone from honey via the email provided. I have also tried though PayPal and they said unfortunately we are not honey so you have to contact honey. Is there something wrong with honey? I’m not understanding how the customer service is not working and there is not a resolution, after also seeing all these reviews how is there not a resolution on this?

"Useless service"
Same as everyone else below, not able to redeem my points for a voucher, tried 5 times now and each comes back with an error, tried contacting customer services everytime, no reply, tried to reach out on socials, ignored, the whole site is pointless. They will probably reply to me on here ask me to email them, or contact them through socials, I've done this 5 times now and ignored all the time, pretty useless.

"Poor Customer Service"
Tried to redeem my 1200 points I have saved for a $10 gift card for about 2 months now and when I go to redeem the points it doesn’t deduct any points and says to wait 24 hrs for my gift card but I never end up getting it. I’ve tried emailing got no response tried twitter got no response. Seems this issue is happening to hundreds of people yet no fix in sight :(

"TERRIBLE Customer Service and FALSE Advertisement"
AVOID!
I used to absolutely love Honey, I loved how it could find discount codes AND reward me. However, since October I have been unable to redeem my Honey Gold points. I have saved over £150 in Honey Gold points which are now completely redundant.

I emailed customer services and was completely ignored. I chased and chased and got nothing back. I messaged them on Facebook and am now BLOCKED from their Facebook. I messaged them on Twitter and am now BLOCKED on their Twitter, too. It would not surprise me if they have somehow blacklisted my emails from coming into their inbox. It appears the element of redeeming your vouchers is completely null and void - which is ridiculous seeing as this is a selling point endless influencers shove down your throat when talking about Honey.

What makes it even funnier is that they've emailed me to tell me new points have been added to my account! Great - I can't use them!

I'd have to say the greatest thing about Honey, in my opinion, is not only the convenience of it but also, the fact that you have to do absolutely nothing accept add it to your browser to instantly begin saving money and stacking points for rewards later.

"Customer Service? -- None here. ."
After purchasing select products from an online retailer which have Honey rewards, the Points were never credited to my account.

I have sought help through the Honey Chat Customer Service several times. Someone will initially respond asking if they can help, but that's the end of contact there (I have kept the Chat window open for hours waiting for a reply to my inquiry and nothing).

Twice I have e-mailed them at joinhoney.com to request the points, attaching Screenshots of the Honey pull-down menu (from my browser) and the corresponding paid invoice that shows my points request is valid -- No e-mail replies at all.

It has been over 6 weeks now since my purchase and I've wasted a lot of time chasing < $10 ~:(.

Seems like the company has gone down hill since PayPal purchased it, which gives PayPal a bad reputation along with it.

It does not let you redeem the points, so what is the point of this? .. Definitely very bad and the support here does not exist, they never respond, this is useless at all.

"Impossible to get the rewards and contact Honey"
Impossible to get the rewards. Also impossible to get a response through the chat function and email. Although discounts can be found - other tools will provide something similar. Plus, honey are collecting and selling my data, so a win win for them. Trying to contact them is frustrating, no response.
Edit - pretending that I can 'reach out' on trust pilot is an insult - I looked at the socials and it is full of dissatisfied comments where reaching out results in 'ghosting'! How about you just fix the issue?

"Customer service…..what customer service"
Unable to redeem points. I have over 2500 points and each time an attempt to redeem them for a voucher, nothing comes though. I have now emailed their customer support team 5 times over the last 3 months and have been ignored completely. I have been on their live chat many times and each time they do not respond to me, leave me waiting and then they disconnect the chat.

Customer service is terrible….or more accurately not existent, some of the worst I have ever come across. I’ve never know a company to ignore a customer/user at every opportunity. They should all be truly ashamed. If I do not get a response within the next couple of weeks I will be removing the app and advising all my friends and family who I previously recommended it to, to do the same.

Don’t waste you time signing up to Honey. It’ll only leave you frustrated.

"Honey is a scam - Can't redeem my points."
I have been using Honey for a while now, saved up some points. The big problem is you CANNOT REDEEM THEM! I have tried almost every gift card they offer for several times and NONE COME THROUGH. They always send me the email that 'they ran into a problem redeeming the points' and just transfer them back into my account. I have been trying to contact their support several times without ANY reply at all. Theyre selling your data while scamming you. This is the worst.
